O—You Won’t Want to Miss This

If this playful new light died and came back to life as a food, it’d most definitely be a donut. (Uh-oh, now we’ve gone and made you hungry. So sorry. We like the glazed ones too.) Essentially the P4000’s (way more fun) twin, it’s a reinterpretation of the popular original—available verrrry soon in the shape of an O.

Location: Red Ventures Campus-Indian Land, SC, USA

Architect:  Overcash Demmitt Architects

Products: LP Nest Post Top, Collage Pendant

A progressive office environment simply scratches the surface of what the 330,000 square foot complex of the Red Ventures marketing communication firm boasts.  With bowling alleys, basketball courts and yoga offerings, this newest of 3 buildings on the site – Red Ventures 3 – houses over 1,200 associates in the tech marketing firm’s location just south of Charlotte, NC.

The beautifully landscaped grounds create a park-like atmosphere with outdoor workspaces that include fire pits and lighting elements that blend with the surrounding.  Uniquely designed, the LP Nest Post Top light fixtures provide indirect, soft and symmetrical light.  The “lattice” design of cast aluminum on the white reflector top creates an attractive play of light found in nature amongst sparse tree tops in winter.

Presenting F+P 550 Pendant LED by Louis Poulsen

July 7, 2015

lp fp 550 pendant led

The F+P 550 design is simple and light, and many resources went into creating harmony between the luminaire parts thus uniting them into a single weightless, stunning unit.

The fixture emits 100% glare-free light directed primarily downwards. A light guide directs a portion of the light onto the glass, which becomes softly illuminated.  The edge of the glass creates a decorative light effect.

With a 30W LED/3000K light source, 1606 lm and a 54 lm/w efficiency, the F+P 550 is a beautifully designed energy conscious pendant.

F+P delivers performance for meeting rooms, reception areas, and libraries; as well as being a beautiful resource for energy efficient lighting in private homes.
